Posted in General on 02/01/2008 08:51 pm by katWhile Sean and I were headed home today, we were listening to NPR and we listened to a good article about the Woolworth lunch counter sit-in that occurred on this day 48 years ago.
I’m not going to try to be insightful. I think, though, that it’s worth noting events in history such as this sit-in and how it has changed our world and how our world continues to need change. Think of it as food for thought.
