Yes, that’s right. Sean and I are complete geeks. Along with a few of my coworkers, we headed to the store tonight after work and bought Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s game.

Eh. It’s fun because the songs are all from the 80s, but there are two things that I’m not thrilled about. First, they could have done a better job with the playlist. If you’re curious, you can find it here.
Second, I was sad that they only played around with the costumes on the characters and not actually either adding new characters or changing around the venues. For $39, I was just expecting a little more.
That being said, Sean and I have been playing through the game the past two nights and a coworker is throwing a Guitar Hero party this weekend to celebrate the new game coming out.

It would have been cool to have extra costumes that you could purchase for the game, also, no buyable songs and no stonehenge stage…..
At this point I am trying to decide what system to get for playing Rock Band
