mac-less existence, take two
Posted in General on 09/19/2006 03:20 pm by katThis weekend, I took my laptop down to the Apple store to see if they could fix a problem I’ve been having with the hook that holds my laptop closed. Sadly, this is a fix that requires them sending my laptop off. So, after backing everything up and removing sensitive information off of it, Sean took it down to be shipped off yesterday. The tech I talked to told me it would be gone for a week. The tech that Sean talked to said it would be 5 - 10 business days. I’m really hoping it’s just a week. I’m already going through withdrawal symptoms of not having my laptop around.
That being said, it will be at least another week before I can get any more pictures posted from Hawaii, since I edit them on my laptop.
I now know how Brad felt when he shipped his off.

Dad’s has been gone for a week too. He is hoping it returns today. Sniff sniff

Mine arrived at Apple on the 20th. I hope they get done with it soon!

Mine arrived at Apple on the 21st. They’re still repairing it. I’m about to go crazy being without it. My DS Lite is about my only comfort during this time of loneliness.
