		<description>Few things to keep in mind...

First, if there is a person in the photo (other than crowd shots at public places) make certain you have written permission from that person to use their photo commercially.  DEFINITELY make certain you have it from a parent if the person is under 18.

Second, if the photo is taken on private or govt. owned property, make certain you have written permission to use the photos commercially.  If the photo was taken from a public place (i.e. roadside) then it&#039;s a grey area as to whether or not you legally need permission, but it&#039;s considered a courtesey to ask  (offer the owner prints! Flattery can get you anything!).  

If you don&#039;t want to take the time to deal with galleries, et al, there are several really good websites that will take care of selling the photos for you.  Fotoki.com is excellent.  You just put the photos on their website, put a price on them and fotki takes care of getting them printed and collecting the money.  They also sponsor monthly photo contests which can get you a lot of exposure.  I use them, and I know a number of professional photographers who use services like this for their independent &quot;art&quot; photography.</description>
