comments re-enabled

I have re-enabled comments now. Thanks to Jeff M. for his suggestions. Thanks also to Geof M. for his help this evening in getting what I wanted actually done on my site so that you guys can comment once more. Now I can resume my regularly scheduled program of getting stuff done for the winter holidays.
