Casa De Morrill

After 2 days of messing with incorrect amounts of money on our loan papers and coming and going with the title company (this is a story for another day when I don’t shake when talking about it), money has been given to the right people in the right amounts and Sean’s and my signatures appear on the right sheets of paper in the right places. We own a home once more, it just happens to be 2000 miles away from the last home we owned. Tomorrow morning, Sean picks up the keys from the supervisor and tomorrow evening we start to move stuff into the house.

As silly as it sounds, I almost just want to sleep on the floor at the new house on Friday night. I’m so thrilled with the house. It’s fantastic. Yesterday, during our walk-through, my grin just got bigger and bigger as we got to see everything in and around the house. There are a few dints and dings that needed to be fixed, but other than that, everything looks fantastic. Saturday, we’ll spend our first real night in our new home. Woohoo!
