I’m sitting at my gate at the Huntsville International Airport. I have a one-way ticket in hand with my cat and my laptop. Two bags that barely pass the weight allowance (I know, because I checked them this morning), are checked and carry most of my clothing in them.
This is my final trip to Phoenix. This time, I’m heading to live out there. It’s way too early in the morning, though. I’m typing this at 5:39am. It was 3:45am when I woke up this morning. It was still pitch black outside when we left my parents’ house. The sky is starting to get a bit of color to it.
For all the Huntsville locals that are reading this, I’ll miss you guys. I’m only an email away, though, and you know that I’ll always come back. Oh yeah, and don’t forget that we have an open door to you guys, too.
