first of the last

Today’s the first day of the last semester of school as an undergraduate for me. It’s a thrilling and daunting thought, all at once. I’ll finally be done with my undergraduate career at UAH as of April 30, but at the same time, that means a whole new stage in my life begins. It’s always scary to be starting a new stage in life. I’m ready for it, though. For the past 5 years, I’ve been trudging through college, just trying to get my degree finished so that I can get some of my life back. After remembering how nice it is to have hobbies and spend time with Sean and the rest of my friends this Christmas break, I’m definitely ready to get this last semester over with. *glances at calendar* Just one hundred and twenty-five days left. The light’s at the end of the tunnel and I’m almost completely certain it isn’t a train.
