Kat and I seem to pick the oddest times to work on our house. Case in point: This weekend we had a cleaning fit on saturday. Sunday came along and after Kat got back from a study session we kinda sat around for a bit until 9 or so and then just started putting stuff up. No mention of the fact that I am leaving at 6 in the morning and Kat is going to exercise at around the same time. Heh, we also decided to rearrange the living room, it works alot better in our opinion. Well, nothing else for now, I am oging to get some sleep, gotta drive to Kentucky in the morning to do some tech support, i get to add that state to my list.

I’m starting to get used to being up early in the morning. This morning, though, was a particular hardship. It was really cold. Sean and I are resisting turning on our heater. We turned it on for a little bit yesterday morning, but this morning it stayed off. Yes, it’s cold enough to have a heater on right now during the night. It’s dipped down into the low 50s/high 40s the past two nights now. This morning, though, the alarm went off at 5:15. Sean had to be on the road early. I had to get up and start my exercise routine. I let him take a shower and when he got out, I dragged my ass out of our extremely warm bed and got dressed in workout clothes. We both quietly ate our cereal while watching SportsCenter on ESPN. Then, I grabbed my clothes to change into after working out and Sean grabbed his luggage for the week and we each loaded our cars, said our goodbyes for the week and went our separate ways. Sean’s on his way up to Johnson City for another week. I went to the University Fitness Center.
Today, I just walked on the treadmill for a while. On my way out, though, I scheduled an appointment with a personal fitness trainer. Wednesday, I’ll go back in at 6am and start on my routine. My goal? Abs/thighs and upper body strength. I want to start rowing and rock climbing again and that’s going to require regaining my upper body strength. I think with a personal trainer, I’ll be willing to stick to this for a good while. That, and I can’t beat having free access to some great facilities as well as a personal trainer. Might as well use it while I’ve got it.
*stretch* Time to get to work.
