representative

Yes, that’s correct, you heard me right. I was sworn into the SGA last night at 8:50pm. After 3 years of bitching about things that I don’t like at UAH, I finally gave in and was nominated and elected for one of the vacant positions in the House. I now have the ability to try to change some of my issues with UAH and try to leave a better college behind for those that don’t get to graduate this spring.
After being sworn in last night, we proceeded to have one of the longest meetings the House has ever had. *sigh* We spent until 11pm last night (which is when the University Center closes, thus, we have to be out) discussing and voting on amendments to this year’s Club Finance Handbook. Oi vey. I was glad when we got to the last amendment. It was a long night, but I felt good when I left the meeting, because I had at least put my $0.02 in about what was going on. Damnit, Geof, you were right. This really is addicting.
