Scary thought: I just turned in my graduation application. Yes, it’s true. In one and half more terms, I will finally be graduating. I want to scream with joy and fear all at once. I’ll finally be done with school, but I’ll also have a big gap in my life. For the past couple of years, it’s always been, “When I get out of school…” That’s finally going to happen this spring. I can’t believe it. I will finally have my life back. Oh, and for those curious, no, I’m not going back and getting my masters. Not right now, at least. I want to enjoy life for a couple years first. ‘Sides, there’s no way in hell you could get me to go back to UAH for any type of degree after this.
btw, Happy Anniversary Sean! Hope you have a good day up in Johnson City and I’ll see you when you get home.

While Brian go off towards the west coast, I spend my time in the south. Currently I am up in Johnson City, TN working at hopefully my new job. Yes, not Huntsville. I am about 4 1/2 hours and one time zone away from home. I may even get to drive up to Kentucky in the next couple of days, just to add another state to this visit. Actually I am doing quite a bit of tech support, which is a nice change of pace from sales. The job in question is a field engineering position, which is a fancy way of saying i install, support and train folks in document imaging. I also will be doing some side projects, like getting the company’s web site up and running. Yep, I know, can’t even get my own finished and they want me to do one for the company. Well just so you know this domain is going to expire soon, and so I will be moving on to a new webspace, something more appropriate since I no longer have the integra.
What else is going on…..
Oh, happy 2 years to Ms. Kitty and I. We had a wonderful time driving down to Birmingham and spending money on ourselves instead of the house. Well, we did find some stuff for the house, but we did shop for ourselves too. Other than throwing out my back, we had a good time (dunno what happened, it just siezed up).
Now I will get back to looking for an apartment up here, need to find a place to live for a week or two out of the month.
