start of the day

So my day didn’t start off too well. I woke up bleary eyed after letting the alarm go off for something like 10 minutes. I’m surprised Sean hadn’t shoved me out of bed by then. Then, when I went to take a shower, the shower knob wouldn’t turn. Or at least, it would turn, but the shower wouldn’t come on. nrrrrggghhhh…. Thankfully, we have two bathrooms, so I cleaned out the wallpaper in the upstairs bathroom and took a shower there. Not bad, but it meant that Sean and I, both still mostly asleep, had to put a shower rod and curtain up upstairs as well as transfer shower goods and such. Not fun when all you want to do is curl back up in bed.

As compensation for the day starting badly and me having to wake Sean up a good 30 minutes before he normally wakes up, I bought him breakfast at Izzy’s Bagel Cafe this morning. Hey, at least something’s gotta go right in the morning.
