Tingly sensation in my legs

I am sitting here at work just kind of floating along right now, trying to stay awake. The tingly sensation is due to the hydrocodine that I took earlier this morning. The misspelled words are due to the fact that 1) consentration bad and 2) I can’t farking spell anyway.

Why? You may ask. Is Sean taking hydrocodine? Oh yes, if you remember back earlier in the year I had to have my first crown put on (tooth nubmer 30, a molar on the back lower right hand side). Well about 2 days ago, we found out that it didn’t work. We were trying to preven me from having to go through a root canal. No such luck. After Kat having to deal with me no being able to sleep, and going around chewing on a wet washcloth, I decided that it may be a good idea to see the dentist.

Dr. -”Get thee to a specialist, I think you need a root canal”

Me- “no arguments here Doc. owwwwwwww”

So yesterday afternoon was spent with me in an office feeling the specialist (endodonics or somehting like that) drill three holes to get the root out. It should cause me no more pain, duh, the root is gone now. But my jaw is friggin sore, thus the drugs.

So, there is my entertaining little story, I think i will now lay back and count the moving ceiling tiles.

countdown

Tonight is Sean’s and my last night in the condo. Tomorrow night, the papers will be signed, the house will be ours and my bed, at least, will have been moved to the new house. It still hasn’t sunken in. Sean and I are about to own a house. In some ways, it’s really scary. I mean, this is a serious commitment. Owning a house has so many responsibilities to it. At the same time, it’s really quite thrilling. No more having to deal with a landlord. We finally get a yard (albeit, a small one) to play in, a garage to store things in. This is really terrific.

So, the plan. Tomorrow, Sean signs the papers in the afternoon. Once the closing is officially over, we’ll pack up my father’s truck (which we, thankfully, have on loan for the weekend) with my bed and whatever else we can cram into it. I’ll likely take a load of clothing in my car. Then, it’s time to head over to our new house. Oh yeah, we’ll also likely take the two darlings with us tomorrow, too, so they can go ahead and sniff around everything before we cram them into a bathroom while moving on Saturday.

Saturday, with whomever we can wrangle up, we’ll start moving all the large stuff in the morning. Sean and I want to get everything that requires multiple people to carry taken care of first so that whatever else is left, he and I can handle by ourselves. Blissfully, we have until Wednesday to get everything out, which is kind of nice. It’s more than just two days to move everything and then clean up the condo. Saturday night, everyone is adjourning over at Amy and Jeff’s to meet the mysterious Monica, Amy’s old roommate from college.

Sunday, more moving, although it’ll likely just be Sean and me this time. Try to finish moving the rest of the boxes and other random stuff out of the condo. If we can finish getting everything moved on Sunday, I’m taking Monday off so that we can get the condo cleaned up. It would really kick ass if we got done a couple days in advance, just to hand the keys over and be done with the old condo.

One more day and the house is ours…
