There is nothing more pleasing or satisfying than knowing that I’ve been able to help someone out with something. One of my fellow CPE major friends isn’t great at coding. She’s learning and I’m helping her out as I can. Today, she emailed me some code and said that she couldn’t get it working, so we sat on IM for a while and messed around with it and finally got it working. I was so happy because she was ecstatic when we’d gotten it working and I know that she was really frustrated beforehand. That, and I think she understands what I helped her with so that next time, she can fix these problems without me helping her. I feel like I’ve accomplished my good Sumaritan act for the day. I can go home now.
