I’ve been bad. I don’t have a lot of extra money right now, but I had to buy one of their CDs. The other day I was flipping through channels on TV and on APT I stopped and listened to a really good group called Nickel Creek for a while. They’re really good. They type of music they play is called Newgrass (New + Bluegrass) and normally I’m not extremely fond of this type of music, but this group is really, really good. So, I hunted them down on Amazon.com this afternoon and placed an order. hehe… more audio evil…

I’ve had my vacation. Now, it’s time to start back up. It wasn’t much of a vacation. I spent my days at work. But, the nice part was the fact that when I got home, I didn’t have to look at my Visor to determine what was due the next day, thus what needed to be done that night. Instead, I was able to go walking with Sean when he got home from work, cook dinners together and then veg in front of the TV together. It was really nice. I wasn’t stressed about anything. I didn’t get a chance to socialize as much as I would have liked since everyone else was busy (for once), but I don’t mind too much. Sean and I got some househunting in. We’re still looking, but at least we’ve started the process.
The week is over now, though. School starts back up for me today. For the next six weeks, I’ll be taking Intro to Music Theory (this is not going to be hard) and Concepts of Programming Languages. I’m interested in seeing what the CS course will be like. From what I’ve heard, it’s a good course, so we’ll see. Either way, I have to put up with it for 12 weeks as one of my CPE electives, so hopefully I’ll like it. For now, time to go to my weekly staff meeting and do what work I can get done before having to head to class. Hope everyone had a good weekend!
