temporal zones

I swear there is a temporal zone in my copy of Voltaire’s Candide. It’s only 87 pages of large type. Every spread is a new “chapter” in the book. This is not a hard book to read, I read it back in high school. For some reason, though, I don’t seem to be moving very quickly through the book. I have made the conclusion, then, that there is a temporal zone in my book that causes time to move very quickly while the book is open. That way, I get tired at night very quickly and will go to bed rather than trying to finish the book.

Hey, if you don’t like that reason, get your own blog.
