Domesticity

Domestic is the word of the weekend.

Sean and I were thoroughly domestic this weekend. Two months ago, we bought wallpaper for our hideous looking bathrooms. This weekend, we finally got around to wallpapering my bathroom. It looks really nice now. The paper is golden textured stones and I have an ivy border going around part of the room, like a chair rail. We got a new light in there that’s a lot less harsh on the eyes. After wallpapering, we went shopping. We found this absolutely decadent chenille, waffleweave bathmat for the floor. It was love at first step. I love the thing. I think my bathroom, now, is the most elegant looking room in the whole apartment. We added a few touches to the living room with a bamboo shade over the porch door and a clock. Sean finally got a ceiling fan for his bedroom. That’ll be nice.

Last night, he and I went to the hockey game. UAH won over Bemidgi State. It was a good game, too. Geof got to sit in the student section, so that just made it all the more fun. Afterwards, there was a gathering up at ClubTodder. We watched RoadTrip, which Sarah had never seen, so that was amusing. We saw Todd’s new truck. It’s not a truck, it’s a semi. The cab’s the size of a Ford Explorer and then there’s a full size truck bed added onto that.

Time to get back to programming. I’ve got a program due in my Algorithms class this Wednesday and would like to finish it before Tuesday late.
