1. What was the first thing you ever cooked? grilled cheese, a good staple thing to eat in my household. Behold the power of cheese, it made me cook.
2. What’s your signature dish? I have a couple, pesto, garlic mashed potatoes, and my omlettes; and not necessarily combined.
3. Ever had a cooking disaster? (tasted like crap, didn’t work, etc.) Describe. well over here in huntsvegas i did find out what the burning temp of olive oil is, forgot about the pan and left it on high. then there was the famous flaming tenderloin incident over at my folks house….
4. If skill and money were no object, what would make for your dream meal? Dunno if I have specifically one, but something involving kobe beef would be good.
5. What are you doing this weekend? Tonight: Gathering at the geek country estate. Tomorrow: hoping that Geof cleans out his truck enough to install his new cd playerm then driving down to Birmingham that night to meet up with some other car folks. Sunday: stumble through full day at CrapUSA, and then drive up to nashville for an install the next day at the Sumner county board of education.

Hey, I remember that fiery-tenderloin thing. Most of all, the look on Kat’s face when she looked out the window and promptly informed us that it appeared that it was, um, on fire…

flaming tenderloin, yep, and then my dad trying to salvage the thing, little too much carbon for my tastes….
