Okay, I’m jumping on the bandwagon. This week’s pertains a lot to why I hate going to the dentist/doctor even to this day.
1. Have you ever had braces? Any other teeth trauma?
Oh heck yeah. I’ve had containers after my dentist said that I had to have four of my baby teeth pulled out. Braces for a year or so. An appliance and now I still have my bottom retainer in from when I had braces. Oh, yeah, and I just had my wisdom teeth out this past fall.
2. Ever broken any bones?
Nothing serious, no. I’ve broken two of my fingers, which isn’t too much of a surprise since I was keep for my soccer team in high school and when I was younger. I have also done serious damage to my knee, but no broken bones there.
3. Ever had stitches?
Why, yes, I have… It’s a funny thing. I had about five stitches in my thumb last spring. I will never go near a computer again if there’s a person with a knife near it. Don’t worry, Jess, I don’t believe in getting too bad of revenge.
4. What are the stories behind some of your [physical] scars?
I still have a few scars left from when I was a child and had chicken pox. The only other scars I have are from my recent meeting with a knife while trying to fix a computer and then various small scars from where my cats have tried to use me as a scratching post.
5. How do you plan to spend your weekend?
Let’s see… Saturday I’m going to be out on the UAH duck pond canoeing for a couple hours, then working on a program from my OS class. That night, I’ve got a group of friends coming over to watch a movie and have dinner. Sunday, I’ll likely spend the day, after waking up, working on essays and projects that are coming due. Woohoo. My exciting weekend.
