Casa De Morrill

Since I got the cable modem working yesterday, last night Sean brought home the cable modem router from work. It’s really nice to have Sean work for a company that’s got extra money to spend at the end of the year. We got a router out of the whole thing. It’s one of the LinkSys DSL/Cable routers. It’s got a web interface that allows me to set up all of the rules, etc. After figuring out that what the ISP considers DNS and what the router considers domain name are two completely different things, I was well on my way to getting the connection working. The router now sits under Sean’s desk and I have a cable running into my room so that I can sit on my familiar computer and surf the web. This, of course, also means that Sean and I can play Civ III against each other. ahhh, the bonding in this condo.
