Wow, i always forget exactly how much fun I have going autocrossing until after the event. Yesterday was my first event in quite awhile, they have not had an event for over a month now and I have been getting antsy. The course was quite a long one, running anywhere from a minute and a half for the modified cars to around 2 minutes for some stockers. My first run was not to bad, clocking in at 104 seconds, but my second run I improved by a great margin to get a 97 second run. To give you an idea of how good this was, we were almost done with my class and at that point i had fastest time of the day. Although with an adjusted time I fell back to 3rd. (they adjust times depending on the car you drive.) Anyway, I was just extremely happy.

Our next event I am going to try and invite some of the wondergeeken crew out. This event is a bit different than most, it is going to be october 20th at night, yup, night. Instead of having cones they put out milk jugs with candles and sand in them. Usually cars try to go with running lights and no headlights, it is easier to see the jugs, but the running lights are for the course workers That is going to be extremely fun, and i would love to see some of the group take their cars out and drive.
